CE Certificates
A quick guide to accessing CEs and to License Renewal
Thank you for choosing WEMSA to get some or all of your Continuing Education Credits! WEMSA is accredited to provide CEs by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) which is a national recognized accreditation body for EMS provider education. Below will provide you a bit more guidance to accessing your Certificate(s) once you have completed either an online or in-person course through WEMSA.
State License
Your certificate is now available for download within the WEMSA Learning Management Portal! You will need to log in to your account to access your certificate. Please follow the below steps to do so:
- Visit our WEMSA Learning Management Portal
- Log in using your conference registration e-mail or the e-mail associated with your WEMSA membership as your username.
- For first-time users or if you've forgotten your password: Click the "Forgot Password" link to reset your password. Please check your Spam Folder if you do not receive a password reset e-mail.
- Your Continuing Education Certificate will be accessible under the "My Certificates" tab on the left hand menu. Click the button that says "Download CEs" and you have successfully accessed your CE Certificate.
- Utilize this CE Certificate to provide WI DHS the information they need for your license renewal. You will need to do this in the E-Licensing Portal, and further information can be found here.
NREMT License
- If you provided NREMT License Information, your CEs should be available in your NREMT dashboard.
- After signing into your NREMT account, navigate to Transcript underneath My Certificate on the left hand menu.
- Then click the button that says "Import CAPCE Courses." This should allow you to select the classes you want to import into your transcript.
- We recommend to also attach your WEMSA CE Certificate to each class. Do so by clicking on the name of each class (highlighted in blue), and then choosing to "Edit This Course."
- Then select the Certificate you received from us, and click "Save Attachments."
